CBSE 12th Results 2016: After Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully conducted 12th class examination in the month of April, students and parents were waiting for the result to be declared and we have brought this good news according to the notification on the official website suggesting that CBSE class 12th result will be declared today (Saturday) i.e 21st May. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce results for all its regions at 12 noon and students will be able to access it on these following websites-www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in.

According to the recent news, telecounselling second phase will also commence along with the results announcement and will continue till June 4, 2016.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 12th examination began on March 1 and were concluded on April 22. In 2016, a total of 10,67,900 students applied for the Class 12 exam as against 10,40,368 in last year.

Earlier this week, Smriti Irani, Union HRD Minister had assured candidates during a Facebook chat that the result for CBSE Board exams for class X and XII will be announced “on time” before the end May.

Starting this year, CBSE will also provide Class XII digital mark sheets in DigiLocker at www.digilocker.gov.in. The DigiLocker account credentials will be sent to students via SMS on their mobile number registered with CBSE,” an official statement said. The results will also be available via Android mobile app-DigiResults. As per previous years, the board will also be disseminating its results through IVRS also,” it added.

CBSE Class 12 Result Stats 2016: 
In 2015, on 25th May, the CBSE Result for Class 12th was declared. The exam conducted by the board was attended by a total of 10,40,368 candidates and the overall pass percentage was 82%.

-> Overall Pass Percentage: 82%
->  Number of Qualified Students: 8,53,102
-> Performance of Female Students: 87.57% pass
-> Performance of Male Students: 77.77% pass
-> Highest performing region: Thiruvananthapuram (95.41% pass)

    • Navigate to the notifications section on the home page and click on it.
    • Look for the link “CBSE Class 12 Result 2016″ link and Click on it.
    • Enter your Roll number and submit the details.
    • The CBSE Class XII Results 2016 will appear on the screen.
    • Download it and take a printout of the same.
